Governance and Compliance Manager - Kingston-Upon-Thames

Salary £55,000 DOE

My client is an established housing Association based in Surrey.

They manage over 7000 houses in their local authority areas.
My client is now seeking a Governance and Compliance Manager reporting in to the Finance Director.

The primary focus of this role is to ensure that the Group continues to maintain legal and regulatory compliance.
You will help facilitate effective and robust governance arrangements, along with providing controls assurance and overseeing the risk management framework.
My client is looking for a qualified company secretary/solicitor; or you may have equivalent experience with a degree level qualification.

Our must-haves include previous experience working in a regulated environment.

The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the following
Understanding of company constitutions and group governance arrangements
Well-developed skills in policy formulation, presentation and communication
Self-motivation and ability to prioritise your workload to best effect
