This is a large car dealership with sites all over the East of England, and they have an urgent requirement for an Assistant Service Manager to join their growing operation, based in their Suffolk branch.
The successful Assistant Service Manager will answer to the Service Manager, assisting every day in the smooth running of the operation.

You should have a hands-on problem solving approach and a dynamic, positive attitude.

You will also have to inspire the team to ensure every customers experience is exceptional.

Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written, are paramount as the role will involve close working relations with the company's customers.


Assist in recruiting and select team members in line with organisational requirements
Maintain customer service standards and ensure understanding and adherence to the requirements of customer satisfaction indicators
Ensure sufficient resources are available to meet servicing requirements and regularly review key operating controls (labour efficiency, labour sales, and cost of sales)
Maximise commercial opportunities through developing and implementing campaigns within specific market sectors
Maintain standards of performance of the and service teams through effective coaching and performance management
Monitor and evaluate customer needs and competitor activity in the market, ensuring that marketing campaigns are relevant and targeted
Ensure all Service processes meet HSO requirements and that they are implemented in a consistent manner
Very good written and verbal communication skills.

The role will involve assessment and analysis of the team's performance to make sure processes are done right or training if required.
