IT SUPPORT ENGINEER - 1st LINE - Salary is £17,000 - £19,000 + Overtime + On-call + Benefits.

VMware, Active Directory, Exchange, MS Office 365, Networking, TCP/IP.

I am looking for an enthusiastic 1st Line Support Engineer/ IT End User Support Engineer/ Helpdesk Support Engineer / Service Desk Engineer - The ideal candidate will be able to work under pressure, have excellent communication skills and telephone manner.

My client, an Award Winning IT Solutions Company are looking for a lively and enthusiastic Support Engineer with a proactive "can do" attitude to work with excellent customer services skills.

Key skills and responsibilities:

  • Logging and managing incidents and service requests raised by telephone, email and the customer self-service portal.

  • Windows Server Operating systems experience

  • Windows Desktops

  • Active Directory - Managing AD Group Policies

  • MS Exchange

  • MS Office 365

  • Networking, TCP/IP,

  • CCNA, MCSA, MCP, ITIL or working towards MCSE

  • Must be able to work shift patterns Monday to Friday from 7.30 am to 8 pm, Will be part of on-call rota which has a fixed shift payment plus overtime for any hours worked.
