Technical Manager (Asbestos) - Wakefield

Salary - Salary is negotiable depending on experience and qualifications.

Due to an increasing workload our client are currently seeking to recruit a Deputy Technical Manager to join their team.

The Role

Reporting to the Senior Technical Manager, the role involves the operational management of asbestos site analysts, surveyors, laboratory analysts and administrators.

In addition, the role requires proactive development of the existing team including auditing, training and performance management.

Experience/Skills

The candidate will hold as a minimum BOHS P402 (or RSPH equivalent qualification) and have:

Previous experience of asbestos consultancy within a UKAS accredited company, project management and site work is essential along with relevant industry qualifications BOHS P402, P403 and P404 (or equivalent).


It is also envisaged that the successful candidate will hold the W504/S301 or will go on to obtain the qualifications and will be developed to achieve COCA status.
