Events Manager

Events Manager - Argyllshire

SALARY - 25k

THE COMPANY

Historic hotel in stunning unique location with event facilities .

The fine dining restaurant is elegant but casual showcasing the finest local ingredients from local suppliers and top quality producers.

ROLE

The Events Manager primary responsibilities of the position are to sell and manage events ensuring that all our guests receive the highest level of service and hospitality.

A very hands on role and the individual may be called on to do anything from covering reception, to helping serve tables to setting up function rooms - virtually anything in the hotel.

This is a small business and everyone has to pitch in as required at any time.



THE PERSON

An experienced Events Manager who has a solid knowledge of Hotel events , has creativity and flair, can demonstrate good business acumen, has a strong work ethic, strong social skills and excellent sales and negotiating skills.

At least 2 years experience of working in a similar function preferable within hotels .
