Part Time Administration Assistant - Dartford

Description of the role:

This is a part time role to assist the Service Department in the support of its customers in the use of their products.

The role will include support of the Service Manager in all aspects of the Service Department administrative functions.

Predominantly this will be receiving, logging and responding to customer technical queries on Autoclave systems (Electrical, PLC / Software function, Mechanical, Steam and Pneumatic systems) in a timely manner and supporting our team of 8 Field Service Engineers with spare parts support, guidance on job scheduling, scopes of work and Job details.

Work will be fast-moving.

Ability to work under pressure is essential.

Tasks include:

Assist in the administration of the Company UKAS accreditation, Generating Test Reports & Certificates for customers in line with the companies QA procedures.
Checking and signing UKAS certification where appropriate.
Maintain company external engineer's calibration equipment.
Coordinate the Customer Returns system.
Log and record details of all warranty visits.

Follow up as necessary.
Maintain Customer Complaints Logging & Follow ups.
Maintain and update company QA documentation.
Ensuring that parts stock and supply is recorded, maintained and reviewed to ensure continuous support of the Service Department activities.
Support of, and issuing Service Department Risk Assessment and Method Statements to support Service Activities

Knowledge Requirements:

Education:
The candidate should ideally be qualified to A-Level, HNC or HND level in a relevant Technical, Administrative or Customer Service field.

Employment Background:
Suitable industry experience of Technical Support and administration would be considered.

Skill set:

Excellent customer communications (both written and verbal).
Good administrative and organizational skills
A working knowledge of recognised PC software such as Microsoft Office
Good PC Literacy
UK Mainland geographical awareness.

Personal attributes:

Self-motivated with excellent customer service skills and possess the ability to work alone to a high standard.


Keen interest in Engineering.
Good communicator for all aspects of Customer Services.
To “champion” all aspects of the Service Department

Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
