My client are an industry leader within the Conveyor industry, Covering a number of contracts throughout the Midlands & North

An excellent opportunity has arisen within the Midlands & North area for an experienced Conveyor Area Sales Manager


The Role

Reporting to the National Sales Manager primarily to maximise customer sales in the defined geographic region, this role is for an experienced field based, business to business sales professional.

The role will involve selling a portfolio of products to new customers within the Food Segment, target customers will be food processors, OEM's, conveyor belt fabricators and conveyor parts suppliers.

Building and maintaining professional business relationships, developing and implementing tactical sales plans to grow new business within the territory, providing sales forecasting and compiling management reports.

The key tasks and responsibilities are:

, Management of sales and new clients to agreed targets
, Identification and implementation of new business initiatives both for new customers and new products
, Work with Segment/Product specialists to achieve joint sales success
, Provide solutions to existing and new customer base
, Make balanced commercial judgements between price/margin and volume trade-offs in the context of the competitive situation and price guidelines given
, Feedback market intelligence to UK County Manager and National Sales Manager on a regular basis
, Utilising the CRM system for sales planning, call reports and maintaining accurate area records
, Produce monthly analysis and sales reports through CRM

The Person

You will be an engineer or graduate calibre candidate with proven experience of new business development within a business to business environment where you have proven experience of meeting with and presenting to clients face to face.

Naturally proactive, self-sufficient and results led, you will create opportunities from which to close, selling to a range of customer types across the geographic area.



Experience Required:
, Proven track record in new and existing business sales
, Proven experience of conveyor belts within target market
, Ability to meet targets and results driven
, Excellent written and verbal communication skills
, Client Relationship Management Skills
, Engineering mind
Performance Measures;

, Area sales performance on consistent basis based on set targets and KPI's
, Reporting effectively within CRM in timely manner and providing Monthly Sales Reports
, Compliance with reporting requirements as agreed with your Line Manager

Package

My client are paying an excellent salary and package, You will be on an hourly pay which will be negotiated at interview stage and will depend on experience, You will also receive Company car, Pension, Health Care, Mobile phone and Laptop
