Programme Manager (Product) - London

£420 to £510 per day

Key purpose:

To ensure operational and project related activity across the Product department is managed and communicated effectively and delivered against KPIs as directed by the Product Director.

Reports directly to the Group Product Director with two direct reports of a project manager and Office/Admin Manager.

Key responsibilities:

Planning and implementation of Projects

Defining the scope and goals of a project

Planning and scheduling project timelines across the product org

Resource planning and allocation

Carrying out risk and issues assessment, with actions to mitigate identified issues and risks

Managing the budgetary objectives along with measuring the value being delivered.

Build and retain trust with stakeholders across the group

Support product managers in project delivery and managing the scope of the project where necessary

Report regularly to senior management on the progress being delivered on a project

Support wider communication of the progress of various product initiatives and projects

Track performance and measure value being delivered

Key Skills

Organisational, numeracy and analytical skills

Excellent attention to detail, and ability to assimilate, sort and aggregate complex information quickly

Comfortable with ambiguity and making recommendations and decisions with incomplete sets of information

Positive approach and attitude

Effective verbal and written communication skills, able to interact with all levels of audience

Strong teamwork, stakeholder management, coordination, planning and influencing skills

Proven ability to think creatively and to apply analytical and problem-solving skills effectively

Self-motivated and doesn't need hands-on management, with the ability to work at pace
