Room Leader

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Room Leader with experience in a nursery or preschool setting to join a well-established childcare nursery.

This full-time / part-time role offers excellent benefits and salary of £30,000.

As a Room Leader, you will oversee the daily operations of the room, including staff performance and support.

You will be responsible for:

? Support childrens emotional, social, physical, and cognitive growth through play-based learning.
? Observe and document each childs development, liaising with parents and colleagues about individual needs.
? Maintain a tidy, organised, and welcoming classroom that adheres to health and safety standards.
? Collaborate with colleagues to plan and execute curriculum activities that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
? Cultivate positive relationships with children, families, and staff to foster an inclusive community.


What we are looking for:

? Previously worked in a similar role such as Room Leader, Third in Charge, deputy manager.
? Experience in a nursery or preschool setting.
? Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare (e.g., CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent).
? Familiarity with the EYFS framework and a dedication to childrens holistic development.
? First Aid and Safeguarding training (or willingness to undertake training upon employment).
