Building Envelope Designer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Building Envelope Designer with current experience working in the industry to join a well-established construction firm.

This role offers excellent benefits and a salary range of £45,000 - £55,000.

As a Building Envelope Designer, you will be responsible for Producing precise, detailed layout drawings for roofing, cladding, and rainscreen systems.

You will be responsible for:

? Compiling comprehensive material schedules.
? Leading projects from design through to construction, collaborating closely with architects and contractors.
? Supervising junior team members when taking the lead on larger projects.


What we are looking for:

? Previously worked as a Building Envelope Designer, Cladding Designer, Flooring Designer, Facade Designer or in a similar role.
? Current experience working in the construction industry.
? Experience in AutoCAD.
? Skilled in building envelope design (roofing, cladding, rainscreen).
? Knowledge of BIM and ISO19650 standards would be beneficial.
? Strong written and spoken English skills.
