Pre-assessment Staff Nurse

Equivalent to Band 5 – up to £25,000 depending on experience

New job opening for a experienced Pre- Assessment nurse to work with one of the UK’s leading private hospital based in Harpenden area.

 The hospital has 5 state of the art Theatres and modern Surgical and Day Care Wards covering  all major surgery, orthopaedics, gynaecology , urology and medical patients amongst others.

You will contribute to the provision of world-class care within our hospital by delivering an exemplary pre-assessment service to patients.

This key role will also see you supporting the Pre-assessment Lead Nurse to deliver the service and taking the lead in her absence.

Working with pride, enthusiasm and a real passion for caring, you will explain to patients being assessed their own and others’ responsibilities and identify patients’ health needs through observation, discussion and the use of technical assessment methods.

You will also support and advise colleagues on assessment approaches.

Ready to put patients at the heart of everything you do, you will be a registered nurse with experience of working in and across multidisciplinary and pre-assessment teams.

Teaching and assessment skills will also be essential.

Known for your sound clinical judgement, you will bring up-to-date training in infection control and health and safety and a sound understanding of evidence-based practice.

Above all, you’ll be committed to working in partnership with consultants to create innovative solutions for services that make a difference to patients’ lives.

To be considered for this role you must be Registered Nurse and have experienced  in hospital settings.
