Senior Staff Nurse

A Senior Staff Nurse is required to join a fantastic Hospital which is located in Horley.

The Hospital offer a range of treatments ranging from pre-screenings, acute and minor surgery, professional recovery, rehabilitation and many more.

The successful Nurse will receive a competitive salary of £28,000 - £32,000 per annum with great additional benefits such as medical cover, wellness assessments, life assurance, childcare vouchers, retail and entertainment discounts plus many more.

As a Registered Senior Nurse you will deputise for the Senior Ward Sister or Charge Nurse on delegated duties.

You will be responsible for all training and educational needs across the ward, ensuring staff are taking advantage of relevant training opportunities and that their skills are constantly up-to-date.

You will have an annual training plan, to develop competency assessments in order to highlight any areas of need.

You will be the first port of call for student nurses, acting as a liason and co-ordinating their placements.

You will be expected to have exceptional verbal and written communication skills and most importantly be a registered nurse with a mentorship qualification (either completed or one that you are currently working towards).

You will also need to have good knowledge of clinical education, and have evidence of ongoing professional development.

As a Senior Nurse you will need be able to lead and motivate the team to be the best in their field.

To be considered for this role you must be a Registered Nurse with a current NMC pin.
