A great position has arisen for an MRI Radiographer to join one of the leading Healthcare Hospitals located in Watford.

The hospital provides high level of quality care for patients with some of the most advanced treatments on the latest generation imaging, and diagnostic technology.

The offer rehabilitation, surgical procedures and specialise in fields such as orthopaedics, cardiology and many more.

The successful Radiographer will receive a competitive salary of £38,000 - £42,000 per annum with excellent additional benefits such as; medical cover, life assurance, childcare vouchers, retail and entertainment discounts plus many more.

As a specialist Radiographer you will be joining the radiographic department, providing specialised MRI imaging to the patients.

You will be working closely with the patients, assessing their needs and explaining how they can positively affect the outcome of their care plan.

Interpreting their data to form a clinical diagnosis, you will then share your finding with relevant colleagues, discussing the next steps and identifying the need for any urgent action.

Together as a team you will ensure that you are consistently meeting relevant benchmarks, furthering your own professional development by taking up training opportunities and staying ahead of clinical developments in the field.

You must have the following:

·         Have a diploma or degree level in radiography

·         Be HCPC registered

·         1 - 2 years of post-graduate experience specialising in MRI in an imagining department

·         Have a solid understanding of all imagining services.

·         Have up-to-date knowledge of all equipment and medical devices competences

·         Good awareness of clinical governance

·         Be able to calibrate imagining equipment

·         Have the capability to commission new equipment and carry out routine maintenance

To be considered for this role you must have a diploma or degree in Radiography with a registration with HCPC and 1 – 2 years of post-graduate experience in MRI.
