Registered Staff Nurse

Outstanding job opening for Registered Staff Nurse to work with one of the UK’s leading healthcare provider.

As a staff nurse you will be working in highly reputed service within the West Midlands.

The service provides a specialist psychiatric rehabilitation and recovery service for 25 men aged 18 years or older with enduring mental illness and/or personality disorder.  Supporting the needs of both detained and voluntary patients and can manage patients with complex needs, including those with a history of offending.

The successful nurse will be offered an excellent salary of £28,103 per annum plus  other great benefits.

The service aim is to provide   patients with the skills they need to lead a happy and fulfilling life back in the community.

We support those requiring short periods of care prior to moving out of acute care, as well as those stepping down from secure services.

The role:

·         As a staff nurse you will be expected to manage a small case load supported by senior staff nurses and charge nurses.

You will be an active member of the MDT, and will provide recovery focused care for the patients at Abbey House.

·         As a staff nurse you will be supervising Care Support Workers on your shift and encouraging group work within your shift.

·         You will be responsible for administering medication to patients and monitoring the patient’s mental health throughout the shift.
