Who you are:
You'll have previous experience of working in Higher Education and an understanding of the governance structures, academic representation and democratic processes of Students' Unions, including higher education academic policy and understanding of representative models.

The ideal candidate has a passion for student democracy, academic representation and governance with the ability to coach, support and empower others to succeed in their roles.

You will have experience managing multi-disciplinary teams along with overseeing the delivery of programmes of training and support, ideally for volunteers and/or elected representatives.

It is important that you're able to align yourself with WSU values and can show empathy and impartiality.

You will have strong interpersonal skills to build rapport and be able to liaise effectively with different stakeholder groups
