CAD Technician

CAD Technician - Derby

Salary: £30,000.00- £50,000.00 per year

A competitive salary dependent on capability and experience + Benefits.

The Company

Our client are specialist in the design of civil structures for substations and industrial premises, water and effluent treatment works.

New and modification works for industrial and commercial clients, design and detailing of architectural cladding in concrete, stone, stairs and flooring for precast manufacturers.

Established for 20 + years delivering Structural and Civil Engineering design services to a wide range of clients operating in the commercial, industrial, power, health, transport, leisure and education sectors.

They pride themselves on their high standards, attention to detail and Health and Safety aspects of their work.

They are committed to providing a personal and flexible service individually tailored to the client's needs ensuring they provide a design and detailing service specific to each project.

The Role

They are currently seeking a skilled Senior CAD Technician to join their Team.

This is a key position within the company reporting to the Drawing Office Manager & Directors.

Role Responsibilities:

? Using the latest 2D & 3D software available to produce accurate, high quality drawings for structural and civil build assets
? Producing reinforcement bending schedules for reinforced concrete when required
? Managing workload on numerous projects to ensure deadlines are met and client requirements are fulfilled
? Understanding client requirements, recognising and dealing with construction interfaces
? Working with current National Design Standards and Client Specification
