Product Manager

Product Manager - Contract (6 months) - London / Remote

£450 - £600 per day (inside IR35)



Primary Purpose of Role:

You will be responsible for scoping and developing requirements and procurement documentation for a new customer-facing platform.

This new platform is incredibly high profile, the first of it's kind and critical to the success of a service that will have an incredibly positive social impact over the next 5 years.

This is a critical role to facilitate, consolidate and document design, business and technical requirements for a new customer-facing platform.

In this role you'll be working on the following:Lead requirement gathering workshops and working sessions with stakeholders.

? Facilitate a clear understanding of the product vision and MVP goals, to bring all stakeholders into alignment on immediate priorities.
? Develop the specification and procurement documentation for the Product.
? Work closely with the Technology Procurement Project Manager to meet procurement deadlines and appoint a supplier while following various compliance and due diligence processes.
? Establish and agree a delivery approach with the chosen external supplier
? Scope and prioritise deliverables for beta launch.


Key Responsibilities:

? You will need to display some of the following to succeed in this role:
? Proven work experience as a Digital Product or Project Manager or Business Analyst.
? Domain expertise with large-scale consumer web and mobile services.
? Experience working with outsourced technology suppliers to deliver business goals.
? Experience of developing procurement documentation and participating in supplier evaluation.
? Thorough understanding of lean and agile methodologies
? Solid technical background with understanding of software development and web technologies.
? Excellent stakeholder management
? Proven supplier management experience
? Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrix organ
