Fundraising, Marketing and Communications Officer

Salary: £28,500 per annum

Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week), Permanent (job share considered)

Location: Based in Harrogate, with the possibility of some home-working

Open Country is an inspirational, Yorkshire-based charity that seeks to enable disabled people to access and enjoy the countryside.

We offer a diverse programme of countryside activities and the provision of information and advice.

In our five-year Business Plan, we wish to grow new activities in new locations across Yorkshire, and to enhance our 'Reach' and 'Voice'.

You will be working at the heart of our dynamic charity, within a small, driven and above all, friendly team, with management responsibility for our part-time Fundraising Officer.



You will ideally have previous fundraising, marketing & communications, but we will also seriously consider candidates with transferable skills from other sectors.

You should be friendly, self-reliant, resilient and have excellent verbal, written, social media and people skills.

There is some flexibility in terms of the activities you will undertake, adapting to your skill set.

We can also offer some flexibility around working arrangements such as hours, location etc.

There will be occasional events or activities which will require you to work weekends or evenings.
