Salary: £26,000

Contract type: Full-time (37.5 hours Monday-Friday - some weekend work required).

Location: Based at Largs office, with some Travel required

ABOUT US

The Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust is a national charity that inspires young people aged 8-24 to believe in a brighter future living through and beyond cancer.

For many young people, picking up from where they left off before cancer is not possible.

So, when treatment ends our work begins.

The Trust has two bases - in Cowes on the Isle of Wight and Largs on Scotland's West Coast - and employs a team of 18.

Seasonal staff are also recruited for the Trust's main trip season (June-September).

We work closely with the leading young people's cancer charities, in particular through our partnership with Teenage Cancer Trust and Young Lives vs Cancer, and our NHS hospital partners, to ensure every young person who needs support after treatment can get, and stay involved, with the Trust.

THE ROLE

Reporting progress and challenges to the Operations Manager, you will play a lead role in maintaining young person relationships, working closely with partners, young people, and families to inspire attendance on Trust trips as well as coordinating other year-round processes and projects.



Furthermore, you will Identify and proactively develop new relationships with third party charity partners as well as supporting the wider Operations and Trust team when required and support and deputise for the Operations Manager North when needed throughout the year.
