Business Development Manager Architectural

Salary: £45-£50K basic + commission + company car/allowance

The Company:

Our client is one of the largest architectural ironmongers in the UK.

They are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager Architectural who have industry experience selling, timber, doorsets or architectural ironmongery .

The Business Development Manager Architectural will be selling solutions to the health, education, commercial, retail and leisure sectors in the construction industry through consultation, specification, and end-user interaction.

Business Development Manager Architectural Role:

? You will be responsible for building sales and profits by working in collaboration with the branch manager and internal sales representatives.

Our client is looking for someone who can actively increase sales opportunities for new, lapsed and existing customers through proven experience.
? Target key architects and develop strong relationships to develop specifications of architectural ironmongery, doorsets, balustrades and security products
? Identify through effective communication with customer details of specific projects: budget, timescales, product requirements, alternatives, competition
? Identify and follow up with key decision makers on projects and develop strong relationships to influence decisions
? Gain market intelligence to compare and identify key differences and/or value engineer more price effective solutions
? Be progressed


Essential Experience:

? Knowledge of the ironmongery sector along with knowledge of doorsets or automated access systems is a must!
? You need to be confident to grow and develop a customer base that will contribute sales and margin to the branch.
