Location: Southend- on- Sea, SS2

Salary: £12 p/h

A great opportunity for an experienced Upholsterer, to join the team at this Essex based Upholstery Seating Company, who specialise in bespoke seating, tailored specifically toward the cinema sector.

They work hand in hand with specialist architects to provide the perfect layout, with close attention paid to the anatomical design, and ergonomics of each product.

The work environment is calm and friendly with the emphasis on producing a quality product.

The Role:

They are seeking an experienced Upholsterer, who has at least 3 years' experience in upholstery including the upholstery of Bespoke seating.

The role is physical and requires a good level of fitness.

It involves working on your feet all day and lifting loads.

Must have good experience of upholstering seating and working with both heavy fabrics and leather/ faux leather.

Must be capable of reading and understanding drawings.

Must have high attention to detail.

Have a range of traditional upholstery skills/Cutting/sewing and pattern matching.

Skills and Experience:

? Experience 3 years in Upholstery/ Furniture
? You must be familiar with using a tack gun
? Be competent with traditional upholstery techniques
? Be able to prep a seat using webbing, foam and dacron
? Be able to fully upholster a whole unit to a high quality
? Have experience in working with different types of materials,
? including leather, faux leather and fabric
? Be able to reupholster existing seating components to a high standard
? Enthusiasm and positivity, with the ability to solve complex and challenging Problems
? High level of attention to detail
? Work well as part of a team
? Confident to complete your own projects
