Conference and Hospitality Duty Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Conference and Hospitality Duty Manager to join the team at Coventry Technology Park.

They will manage all aspects of the conference / hospitality catering operation at the venue while ensuring an excellent client relationship is maintained and developed.

Responsibilities include:

? Ensure standards of food and beverage service in conference rooms and restaurant are maintained to the highest level.
? Assist with the recruitment, interviewing, induction, training and appraisal of unit staff members in accordance with Seasoned Venues and Crown Group policies and procedures.
? Be responsible for the direction, supervision, motivation, training and discipline of unit staff members.
? Communicate effectively with clients and customers.
? To load & drive the company van and deliver catering equipment , food and beverage to external conference buildings.
? Manage the day-to-day operations of all catering service.
? Raise and process invoices and manage the financial process.
? Assist in the control, ordering and security of all food and beverage stocks.



Person Specification

The individual must possess good organisational, catering, financial and communication skills.

The individual should be enthusiastic, confident and flexible as well as having good attention to detail and being able to work to deadlines.

Experience (Essential)

? Knowledge of the catering industry and current styles
? Knowledge of retail catering and merchandising
? Previous experience in a catering role
? Experience of motivating, managing and disciplining staff
? Experience of retail catering



Qualifications (Essential or Desirable)

? Basic Food Hygiene Certificate Essential
