Care Home Manager

An outstanding new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Care Home Manager to work in an amazing brand new care home opening soon in the spring of 2024 based in the Colwall, Herefordshire area.

You will be working for one of UK’s leading health care providers


This purpose-built luxury care home will open in Spring 2024, offering state-of-art facilities with architectural features



*To be considered for this position you must be a Registered Nurse with an active pin - an advantage but not mandatory | Will accept Non-nurse managers with experience in a similar role




As a Home Manager your key responsibilities include:

·         You’ll take enormous pride in your staff, your home and your plans for the future

·         Set the tone and agenda for your home’s success

·         Be the focus for decision making and set the standard for others to follow

·         Your home will be a reflection of you and you’ll take great pride in making sure your home is above and beyond the standards of other homes


The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

·         Proven track record in the management & delivery of high-quality elderly care

·         Strong knowledge of Dementia Care

·         Thorough knowledge and understanding of The CQC Fundamental Standards

·         Possess strong commercial acumen with the ability to drive KPIs such as; occupancy, staffing, recruitment, compliance & networking to ensure the company's long-term success

·         Experienced in supervising, guiding, and supporting staff

·         Prior experience managing budgets and completing detailed and analytical reports

·         Have excellent communicative & organisational skills


The successful Home Manager will receive an excellent salary up to £75,000 per annum.

This exciting position is a permanent full time role working through Days.
