Location: Reading

Salary: £32,000 - £38,000

An opportunity has arisen for Semi Senior Practice Accountant with3 years of PQE in accountancy practice to join a well-established accountancy firm.

In this role, you will support senior accountants, manage a client portfolio, and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards.

You will be responsible for:

? Prepare financial statements and reports according to accounting standards.
? Conduct tax planning and prepare tax returns using Taxcalc.
? Use Xero and QuickBooks for bookkeeping and financial reporting.
? Ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.
? Stay informed about relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
? Assist in training and developing junior staff.


What we are looking for:

? Previously worked as a Practice Accountant or in a similar role.
? MAAT qualified or ACCA part qualified
? Understanding of accounting principles and standards.
? Skilled in using TaxCalc, Xero, and QuickBooks.
? Exceptional communication, organisational and interpersonal abilities.
