Home Care Operations Manager
An outstanding new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Home Care Operations Manager to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of a homecare agency or organization in the Lowestoft, Suffolk area.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management and administration of all operational aspects within a homecare business

*To be considered for this position you must hold an NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Health & Social Care

As the Operations Manager your key responsibilities include:
· Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of healthcare professionals, including branch managers, care coordinators and administrative staff.
Ensure the team is motivated, trained, and aligned with the company’s visions and goals
· Efficiently allocate and manage resources, including staffing, supplies and office oversight as maintaining cost-effectiveness
· Develop, monitor, and manage budgets to achieve financial targets while maintaining quality of care.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement appropriate measures
· Implement and maintain rigorous quality assurance and compliance protocols to meet regulatory requirements and uphold the highest standards of client care
· Stay current with all relevant regulations, licensing requirements, and industry standards.
Ensure the branches remain in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
· Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancements in service delivery, scheduling, and operations.
Implement best practices to optimize operations
· Accurate oversight of records, reports, and documentation related to client care, employee performance, and operational metrics.
Prepare regular reports for senior management
· Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures to address unexpected situations, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients and staff
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
· Previous experience in healthcare operations management, preferably in homecare
· Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
· Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance
· Proficiency in using healthcare management software and technology
· Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
· Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
· Compassion and dedication to providing high-quality patient care
The successful Operations Manager will receive an excellent salary up to £55,000 per annum.
This exciting position is a permanent full time role working 40 hours a week from 9am-5pm.
