Anaesthetics Theatre Practitioner/ODP

An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for dedicated Anaesthetics Theatre Practitioner/ODP to work in an outstanding private hospital based in the Marylebone, London area.

You will be working for one of UK’s leading health care providers

*To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse or an ODP with a current active NMC/HCPC registration

As an Anaesthetics Theatre Practitioner/ODP your key responsibilities include:

·         Prepare and assist with the administration of anaesthesia

·         Monitor patients’ vital signs and respond to any changes during surgery

·         Prepare the operating room and equipment for surgical procedures

·         Maintain a sterile field and ensure infection control protocols are followed

·         Assist the surgical team with positioning and draping the patient

·         Provide post-operative care and support to patients as they recover from anaesthesia

·         Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of patient care

 

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

·         One year of experience in a UK theatre setting, with knowledge of various surgical specialties

·         Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

·         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work as part of a team

·         Demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality patient care

 

The successful Anaesthetic Theatre Practitioner/ODP will receive an excellent salary of £38,000 - £41,535 per annum.

This exciting position is a permanent full time role for 37.5 hours a week working on early and late shifts.
