The Client:

Our client is a reputable provider and developer of a Wealth Management Platform serving the financial services sector.

They have a diverse clientele spanning the UK and Europe.

The Role:

As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will provide IT support to both customers and internal users, enhancing hardware and software IT systems.

Duties:

? Install and set up software and hardware
? Administer network servers and technology tools
? Configure accounts and workstations
? Oversee system performance and maintenance
? Diagnose and resolve issues and outages
? Implement security measures, backups, and firewalls
? Upgrade systems with the latest versions
? Maintain internal documentation and policies
? Collaborate with teams on IT project progress
? Assist in IT project execution
? Identify and fix performance problems
? Mentor and train future system administrators


Requirements:

Essential:

? Previously worked as a Infrastructure Engineer or in a similar role.
? Skilled in administering Microsoft Server and Client Products including O365
? Knowledge and experience with Networking technologies
? Experience with Windows server operating system, ADDS, DNS, DHCP, and GPO


Desirable:

? AWS and networking experience
? Familiarity with Linux-based systems
? Skilled in overseeing Windows server platform, installation, migration, and maintenance
? Experience with virtualisation technology VMware vSphere
? Ability to manage backup solutions like Commvault and Veeam
? Experience provisioning Windows and Linux on VMs on VMware Hyper-V
? Knowledge of Microsoft 365 suite, admin centres, and PowerShell scripting
? Experience with antivirus software
