Parts Advisor

Location: Salisbury, Wiltshire

Salary: £20k - £28k (DOE) + Excellent Benefits

The Client:

Our client is a well-established agricultural machinery dealership, providing exceptional service and support to its clientele.

The Role:

As a Parts Advisor, you will provide advice and support while ensuring adherence to all stock maintenance processes.

Responsibilities:

? Generate data and reports to ensure the parts inventory meets customer demand and aligns with manufacturer guidelines.
? Prepare orders for picking, collection, and delivery.
? Monitor and maintain stock levels in accordance with established processes.
? Address customer inquiries via telephone and email.
? Place orders using manufacturer systems.
? Help customers identify parts, provide pricing information, and check availability.
? Maintain close communication with service engineers, internal departments, suppliers, and customers regarding parts requests.
? Process parts invoicing and allocate parts to jobs for service counter and trade sales.
? Conduct stock checks and audits, resolving discrepancies with suppliers.


Requirements:

? Previous experience working in a similar role.
? Ideally have background working with Agricultural machinery.
? Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
? Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
? Technical knowledge of products and parts would be preferred.
