CAD Technician

An opportunity has arisen for a CAD Technician with 2 years of experience to join a well-established heat pump specialists.

This full-time role offers excellent benefits and a salary range of £42,000 - £48,000.

As a CAD Technician, you will create detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings and models to support engineering and construction projects.

You Will Be Responsible For:

? Develop precise technical drawings and plans using CAD software, including AutoCAD, Revit, and NavisWorks.
? Revise drawings as needed based on stakeholder feedback.
? Prepare and issue construction drawings, ensure all drawings adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
? Manage version control for all design-related files and perform 3D scans of plant rooms as required.
? Conduct occasional site visits to verify the feasibility of 3D designs within existing facilities.
? Assist with procurement by providing detailed technical drawings and specifications.


What We Are Looking For:

? Previously worked as a CAD Technician, CAD Designer, Revit Technician, BIM Technician, CAD Drafter or in a similar role.
? At least 2 years of experience in AutoCAD and Revit.
? Background in mechanical or chemical engineering or CAD diploma.
? Understanding of technical drawing principles.
? Familiarity with P&IDs, building codes, and industry regulations.
? Ideally have experience within the Building Services or Renewable Energy sectors.
? Right to work in the UK.
