Domestic ASHP Engineer / Air Source Heat Pump Engineer

An opportunity has arisen for a ASHP Engineer / Air Source Heat Pump Engineer to join an established business specialising in renewable energy and energy-efficient solutions for residential and commercial properties.

As a ASHP Engineer / Air Source Heat Pump Engineer, you will manage domestic air source heat pump projects from initial surveys and system design through installation, commissioning and aftercare.

This full-time role offers salary range of £40,000 - £52,000 and benefits.

You should be based within the RG (Reading), SL (Slough), GU (Guildford) or KT (Kingston upon Thames) postcode areas.

You will be responsible for:

? Conduct property surveys, calculate heat loss and design appropriately sized ASHP systems.


? Select equipment and design heating systems, preparing schematics and installation specifications.


? Install, commission and test heat pumps and associated heating and hot water equipment.


? Diagnose faults, service systems, complete repairs and check system performance.


? Maintain installation records, advise customers on system operation, liaise with suppliers and colleagues, and perform other duties as required.




What we are looking for:

? Experience working with domestic ASHP systems.
? Background in carrying out heat-loss surveys and heating system design.
? Practical installation and commissioning experience.
? NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing and Heating, or an equivalent qualification.
? Knowledge of low-temperature heating systems.
? Good fault-finding and diagnostic abilities.
? A full UK driving licence.
