The Client

Our client is a prominent wood processing company, providing a comprehensive range of sawn softwood products, catering to construction, pallet, fencing, and packaging sectors.

The Role:

As an Operations Manager, you will report to Head of Timber Frames and oversee manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient production and quality targets are met within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

? Manage and coordinate activities of manufacturing personnel.
? Achieve production metrics and minimise downtime.
? Optimise manufacturing processes for enhanced productivity.
? Ensure timely order fulfilment and adherence to operational standards.


Requirements:

? Previous experience working in a similar role.
? Ideally have at least 5 years of experience within a manufacturing environment.
? Understanding of timber frame or roof truss manufacturing.
? Background in implementing effective manufacturing practices and lean principles.
? Ability to collaborate with design teams to optimise manufacturing and ensure timely delivery.
