Nursery Chef

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Nursery Chef to joina reputable childcare nursery, offering excellent benefits.

As a Nursery Chef, you will be working with the current chef and kitchen assistant to prepare meals for 200 children daily.

You will be responsible for:

? Manage kitchen staff tasks, oversee food preparation, and ensure adherence to policies.
? Handle the food budget, order stock, and maintain accurate allergy and dietary records.
? Ensure cleanliness, proper stock rotation, and adherence to labelling and safety procedures.
? Collaborate with management to prepare balanced, healthy meals, considering dietary and cultural needs.
? Comply with food safety regulations, health and safety guidelines, and safeguarding policies.


What we are looking for:

? Previously worked as a Chef or in a similar role.
? Experience working in a Nursery or School kitchen.
? Strong knowledge of nutrition and balanced meals for early years children.
? Exceptional food hygiene and cleanliness practices.
