Residential Support Worker / Key Worker - Children?s Home

An opportunity has arisen for a Residential Support Worker / Key Worker / Therapeutic Practitioner to join a specialist children's residential care provider supporting young people with SEMH needs through a safe and nurturing therapeutic environment.

As a Residential Support Worker / Key Worker / Therapeutic Practitioner, you will provide emotional and practical support to young people who have experienced Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), providing a secure, nurturing and therapeutic home environment.

This full-time role offers a salary range of £16.00 - £17.50 per hour plus £60 per sleep-in and benefits.

We are open to considering candidates on a Permanent, Temp-to-Perm, or Temporary basis.

You will be responsible for:

? Building positive relationships with young people and acting as a consistent, professional role model.
? Providing therapeutic and relational support to help young people manage emotional, developmental and behavioural needs.
? Supporting the delivery and review of individual care plans, risk assessments and support strategies.
? Maintaining appropriate routines, boundaries and structures to encourage positive behaviours and personal development.
? Supporting young people with daily living skills, education, health appointments and community activities.
? Completing accurate records, daily notes, incident reports and other required documentation.
? Supporting safeguarding practices and responding appropriately to challenging situations.


What we are looking for:

? Previously worked as a Residential Support Worker, Support Worker, Keyworker, Care worker, Care Assistant, Residential Therapeutic Practitioner, Childcare Worker, Childcare Practitioner, Therapeutic Practitioner or in a similar role.
? Approx.

2 years of experience working within a children's residential home environment.
? Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare (NVQ/QCF or equivalent)
? Experience supporting young people with SEMH needs and/or c
