Warehouse Operative / Delivery Driver

An opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse Operative / Delivery Driver to join meat-free production site producing authentic Mexican tortillas, salsas, and related products

As a Warehouse Operative / Delivery Driver, you will be supporting day-to-day warehouse activities while completing safe, timely deliveries to customers and other locations.

This full-time permanent role offers a salary range of £25,500 - £28,000 and benefits.

You will be responsible for

? Loading the delivery vehicle and ensuring orders are ready for dispatch.
? Receiving, checking, storing and rotating incoming stock.
? Picking, packing and preparing customer orders accurately.
? Updating stock records and carrying out inventory checks usingCin7 (training provided).
? Preparing product samples and arranging collections and deliveries via DHL
? Loading and unloading vehicles and completing required delivery paperwork.
? Carrying out routine vehicle checks and reporting any issues.
? Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and compliant with health and safety requirements.
? Using warehouse equipment, including pallet trucks and forklifts where required.


The candidates from the following background will be considered:

? Warehouse Operative, Warehouse Assistant, Warehouse Operator, Delivery Driver, Van Driver, Driver, 3.5-tonne van driver, 3.5-tonne driver, Warehouse Technician, Warehouse Picker, Warehouse Packer or in a similar role.


What we are looking for:

Essential:

? A full UK driving licence


? Previous professional driving or delivery experience
? Good physical fitness and the ability to undertake manual handling duties.
? Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
? Confidence using smartphones for route and delivery applications.
? Basic computer skills, including email, data entry and stock management systems.


Desirable:

? Previous warehouse experience.
? A forklift licence, although training will be provided.
