Test Automation Engineer (DV Cleared)

An opportunity has arisen for a Test Automation Engineer to join a specialist cyber technology and software assurance company supporting UK Defence and Critical National Infrastructure programmes.

As a Test Automation Engineer, you will be developing automated tests, investigating software issues and working with technical teams to improve testing solutions.

This full-time role offers a salary of up to £113,000 and benefits.

Occasional travel may be required.

You will be responsible for

? Creating and maintaining automated test scripts.
? Applying appropriate test automation practices and standards.
? Testing software to identify, investigate and resolve issues.
? Working alongside Test Analysts and Software Developers to develop effective solutions.
? Keeping up to date with developments in testing and automation.
? Maintaining your professional development through relevant training and learning.
? Following organisational requirements relating to security, privacy and ethics.
? Supporting team and customer meetings, events and training where required.
? Undertaking other duties appropriate to the role and level of responsibility.


What we are looking for

? Previously worked as a Test Automation Engineer, Automation Test Engineer, QA Automation Engineer, Software Test Engineer, Test Engineer or in a similar role.
? Valid Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance.
? Highly skilled using languages such as Python, PowerShell, C# and Java.
? A degree in Computer Science, Software Development or a related subject, or an ISTQB qualification.
? Strong problem-solving and mathematical ability.
