Business Development Manager - Facilities Management

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a facilities management company providing cleaning, security, maintenance and workplace support services.

As a Business Development Manager, you will generate new FM opportunities, develop client relationships and lead the sales process through to successful contract award..

This is a full-time, hybrid / field-based role in London offering a salary of up to £70,000, plus new-business commission of up to £100,000 per qualifying contract and benefits.

You will be responsible for:

? Generating and converting new Facilities Management opportunities.
? Building a self-sourced pipeline through networking, referrals, direct approaches, market research, telephone prospecting and digital activity.
? Identifying target organisations and key contacts across Facilities, Estates, Property, Procurement and Operations.
? Developing relationships with senior decision-makers and understanding their service requirements.
? Qualifying opportunities and managing complex sales cycles through to completion.
? Working with Bid, Commercial and Operational teams to develop tailored solutions.
? Supporting PQQ/SQ, ITT, RFI and RFP processes, including tender submissions and pricing.
? Preparing and delivering presentations, tender interviews and commercial proposals.
? Contributing to costing and pricing, with consideration for margins, commercial risk and contract viability.
? Supporting negotiations around pricing and contractual terms.
? Taking ownership of new business targets and maintaining an accurate sales pipeline.
? Keeping CRM records, forecasts, opportunity stages and anticipated decision dates up to date.
? Working closely with Operations, Commercial, Finance and HR teams to secure new contracts.
