Property Manager - Residential & HMO

An opportunity has arisen for a Property Manager to join a well-established estate agency known for their proactive approach to lettings and tenant relations across the Edinburgh residential market.

As a Property Manager, you will manage a residential property portfolio, oversee tenancy matters and support the wider property management team.

This full-time role offers a salary range of £32,000 - £35,000 and benefits.

You will be responsible for:

? Manage a portfolio of residential properties throughout the tenancy lifecycle
? Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords and tenants
? Coordinate maintenance and repair works ensuring issues are resolved efficiently
? Handle tenancy disputes, complaints and complex property matters
? Ensure all properties remain compliant with Scottish lettings legislation and safety requirements
? Oversee HMO properties and associated licensing obligations
? Conduct property inspections and follow up on any required actions
? Support and mentor junior members of the property management team
? Liaise with contractors and service providers to ensure high service standards
? Maintain accurate property records and documentation


The candidates from the following background will be considered:

? Property Manager, Lettings Manager, Lettings Property Manager, Residential Property Manager, Property Management Officer, Tenancy Manager, Portfolio Manager or in a similar role.


What we are looking for:

Essential:

? Minimum 2-3 years experience within residential property management
? Understanding of Scottish lettings legislation and compliance requirements
? Experience managing HMO properties
? Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and workloads simultaneously
? Confident handling challenging conversations and resolving disputes
? Experience mentoring or supporting colleagues


Desirable:

? ARLA Propertymark qualification
? Letwell qualification
