Business Development Manager - Fire & Security

An opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Manager to join an established fire and security services provider, supporting business growth and developing long-term customer relationships across the South.The role involves identifying new opportunities, developing customer relationships and managing sales opportunities through to contract mobilisation, while also growing existing accounts.

This is a hybrid role, offering a basic salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, with OTE up to £70,000, plus benefits.



Candidates can be based in Hertfordshire, London or surrounding areas and should be able to travel to the office when required.

You will be responsible for:? Identifying new business opportunities and developing long-term customer relationships.
? Managing the sales process from initial contact through to contract mobilisation, including proposals and quotations.
? Building and maintaining the sales pipeline across the South.
? Developing existing accounts through upselling and cross-selling.
? Using Simpro to manage and forecast sales opportunities and reporting on pipeline performance.
? Carrying out site surveys and supporting fire and security system proposals.
? Performing other duties relevant to the role as required.


What were looking for? Proven business development experience within the fire and security industry.
? Experience selling both installation projects and ongoing service and maintenance contracts.
? Experience managing the full sales process and developing new customer relationships.
? Strong account management skills, including upselling and cross-selling.
